Datarhyme introduces Event Solutions, a new service where we provide all the sound related elements tailored for events. This is aimed at Corporate, Parties, Weddings and Seminars events.
Events Solutions manages all the sound requirements, we’ll provide one of our PA systems, together with any other sound related items – Lecterns, Table Mics, Projectors, Intelligent Lighting, Staging, etc…
Datarhyme has introduced the DBX DriveRack PX as default for all PA hire systems.
“The DriveRack PX Powered Speaker Optimizer is designed to you need to get the most out of your stereo powered speaker system. With the included dbx M2 measurement mic, Auto-EQ corrects for audible deficiencies in the room environment. The patented Advanced Feedback Suppression (AFS) kills feedback, while the patented Subharmonic Synthesizer extends bass response. You also get classic dbx compression and the protection from PeakPlus limiting”
Datarhyme will use the DriveRack PX to remove acoustic deficiencies at venues and to protect against clients over-driving their PA systems. The DriveRack PX was chosen as Datarhyme mainly use 2-way powered speakers. Also, Datarhyme felt that the DriveRack PA+ didn’t have enough features to justify the price.
Datarhyme provided the same PA system for the the 2nd Ladywell Fields Summer Festival as in 2009. Once again a small (2.6K watts) system was provided. This comprised of the 2x JBL PRX512M with 2x RCF ART705-AS Subs and Mackie C300 monitors. This time the bigger Yamaha LS9-32 digital console was used instead of the LS9-16.
Datarhyme has introduced the new Allen Heath ZED-10 small mixer as default for all general PA hire systems. The ZED-10 offers 10 inputs with 4 mic channels, 2 stereo line-level channels and a stereo playback input. It provides XLR main stereo outputs with inserts, headphone monitoring, separate monitor outputs, 48V phantom power, and DI level switching for sub mixing. Its also has an USB send and return for use with a Mac or PC.
The ZED-10 replaced the Yamaha MG102C mixer used by Datarhyme. The ZED-10 will allow Datarhyme to offer professional features with its basic PA systems.
Datarhyme increased sales by 200 percent in financial year 2009. This was achieved through investment in new hire stock, the implemented of the new Datarhyme website and recommendations from previous customers.
In 2009 Datarhyme worked with a number of up and coming artistes, including Speech Debelle, the Mercury Award 2009 winner. Datarhyme also relinked up with Alan Charles as the Sound Production Technician for the theatrical production Love Sax and all that Jazz.
Datarhyme hopes to have an equally successful year in 2010 with expansion into new areas and improved advertising & marketing.

After two SOLD OUT shows in London, Love Sax and all that Jazz continues it national tour with a visit to the Wycombe Swan, High Wycombe on 20th June 2010 and returns to Broadway Theatre London on Sun 4th July. The theatrical production incorporates music, drama, comedy and spoken word. …It explores various aspects of the love relationship and seeks to address the why, when and how’s of relationships.
Written by Mobo nominated spoken word and gospel artiste Alan Charles, the production chronicles the experiences of four female friends as they come to terms with their individual circumstance. Through their stories the production touches on such topics as singleness, infidelity, divorce, abuse, fornication, love and all that Jazz.
Together with a live band the production is thought provoking, humorous and one that will inspire, uplift and edutain the whole family.
The cast includes: – Shirley Grant, Angela Blake, Kay Corion, Selina Alexanders, Michelle Corion-Homer, Karen Satchwell-Higgins, Michelle Charles, Rohan Alexander, Owen Johnson-Smith, Jason Grant, Raymond Sutherland, Courtney Hoilet and Adjobiah Ackah.
Due to the nature of some scenes in the show this production is rated PG13

The Vocal PA system has been renamed to the Live-Pro PA System as it is aimed at live performing events. The Party PA system now includes a DJ monitor as standard. A new Pro-Series PA system has been introduced. This is based on supplying premium quality PA systems with Line array technology from D&B Audiotechnik and digital consoles from Yamaha (LS9 / M7CL).
Datarhyme have introduced the Apple Composite AV Cable for all Basic and Party PA Systems. The Composite AV Cable connects your iPod, iPhone or Universal Dock via the 30-pin dock connector to the main mixer via the red/white analog audio ports. Using the 30-pin dock connector provides improved sound quality over using the mini-jack cable. The cable also features a USB connector that you can plug into a power source, such as a computer or the included USB Power Adapter.
